General Settings
================
The General Options menu is used to define settings which
determine general operations in BowlStat. Depending on league
requirements, select the required option from the following:

Maximum String Score - The maximum individual string score that can be
entered into BowlStat. The default is set to 300
for Tenpin and Canlepin leagues. For Five-pin ,
change this value to 450.
Maximum High No Mark - The maximum string score that can be entered
into BowlStat for the High No Mark award. The
default is set to 100 for Canlepin leagues. If
this award does not apply, change the value to 0
and change the "Number of HIGH NO MARKS" option
in the "Printout" default submenu to 0.
Round Averages - The default setting of "N" causes BowlStat NOT
to round averages to the nearest tenth of a pin
(actual). If rounding is desired, change this
option to "Y".
Save Club/Stats to Disk - The default setting of "N" will NOT allow 'Club'
scores or Yearly Statistics (team or bowler) to
be generated. If club scores and yearly
statistics are required, change this option to
"Y".
Nbr. Strings in Series - BowlStat supports from two to four string per
series total. If necessary, change the default
of "3" to the required value.
Print Last, First Name - The default setting of "Y" causes names to be
displayed and printed as LAST NAME, FIRST NAME.
To reverse the order (FIRST LAST), change the
setting to "N".
NOTES: To exit the General Options menu, press the 'ESC' (escape) key.
If any of the above settings have been changed, BowlStat will
prompt if they should be saved. To save the changes, press "Y" and
the "Return" or "Enter" key to the "SAVE CHANGES? (Y/N):" prompt.
Once saved, the setting(s) will be become effective immediately.
